Dear Prospective Fellow,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the UTMB Breast Imaging Fellowship Program. As Program Director, I am excited to offer a fellowship focused on comprehensive clinical training, individualized mentorship, and a supportive learning environment.

One of the strengths of our program is its small size, which allows fellows to work closely with faculty and receive personalized guidance throughout the year. This structure provides meaningful opportunities for hands-on clinical experience, procedural training, case discussions, research, and teaching, while supporting each fellow’s individual career goals.

We believe excellent fellowship training is about more than clinical volume,  it is about quality of experience, mentorship, and progressive responsibility. Our fellows become an integral part of a close-knit team while developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for a successful career in breast imaging.

Thank you for considering the UTMB Breast Imaging Fellowship Program. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our program with you.

Sincerely,

Flavia Posleman, Monetto, M.D.
